Detroit Takes Circuit Championship Series Wednesday, October 11th , 2023 Detroit Chargers won a nail-biting series against the Albany Senators 4-3, wrapping up the Circuit Championship Series finale 8-4 at Chargers Field. Chargers first baseman Mike Bryant was named the series MVP. He batted .344, drove in 7 runs and scored 2 to lead Detroit into the next round of play. "Mike was real solid for us, real solid," said Chargers manager Bob Baker. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
