Mexico City Moves on to Circuit Championship Series Friday, September 29th , 2023 It went the distance, but the Mexico City Aztecas finally disposed of the Las Vegas Rollers 2-1 in the series clincher at Estadio Azteca. Winning the finale gave the Aztecas the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Circuit Championship Series. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Mexico City left fielder James Colwill. He batted .385 in the series, collecting 2 RBIs and scoring 1 runs. "James deserves it," said Aztecas manager Rogelio Sanchez. "He was the glue that held our club together."
