5-for-5 Day for Quinlan Tuesday, August 23rd , 2022 Nick Quinlan exploded for a barrage of base hits at PBC Rookie Development Complex. The Miami (R) shortstop had a field day in his team's 7-6 triumph over the St. Louis (R) Lions, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Quinlan must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Nick Quinlan singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Carlos Rosa in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year, Quinlan is hitting .235 with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .331 clip and scored 19 runs. View Boxscore |
