Detroit Has New Ownership Sunday, October 23rd , 2022 A new era is coming to Detroit. The Detroit Chargers have been purchased by Jeremy Burnett from Daniel Stevens after lengthy negotiations. The sale was approved by Semi-Pro Baseball Circuit owners today. New owner Burnett told the press he was thrilled to be part of the league and would bring an exciting and winning brand of baseball to Detroit. Burnett was characterized by financial experts as a hands-on type of guy with normal pockets and a penchant for being tolerant in performance demands. The Detroit Chargers wound up 4th in the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit this season with a 82-80 record. |
