Walt Haney Named WSPC Rookie of Month Saturday, October 1st , 2022 In September, Walt Haney knocked Western Semi-Pro Circuit pitchers all over the ballpark all month long and put up numbers good enough to be voted the Rookie of the Month. Last month, the 29-year-old Vancouver left fielder played in 21 games and hit .270 with no doubles, no triples and 5 home runs. Haney also scored 7 times and drove in 15 runs. This year, Haney is hitting .294 with 18 home runs and 73 RBIs in 133 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .369 with 59 walks and 66 runs scored. |
