ESPC Rookie Vote Goes to Botequim Thursday, September 1st , 2022 When it came to hitting the baseball, Sidney Botequim had few peers in the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit last month. The gifted left fielder for Allentown tagged opposing pitchers for a .312 average and was voted the Rookie of the Month for August. Included in his stats were 35 hits, 5 homers, 15 runs scored and 15 RBIs. For the season, Botequim is hitting .273, batted in 49 runs with 12 home runs and 51 runs scored. |
