Barrage of Hits Gets Tortorello WSPC Award Monday, August 22nd , 2022 Joe Tortorello captured all the headlines last week and today he added to his booty with the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Player of the Week trophy. The Mexico City Aztecas shortstop hammered league hurlers for 13 hits in 27 at-bats, a .481 average and 5 home runs. He also collected 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. So far this season, Tortorello has 6 home runs and a .317 batting average. |
