Fleetwings, Potomacs Trade Players Saturday, December 24th , 2022 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Allentown and D.C. as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 31-year old RHP Danny Gipson to the Potomacs and 30-year old C Alois Sperner and 24-year old minor league CF Aidan Davis Jr. to the Fleetwings. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the D.C. GM. Gipson has chalked up a lifetime ERA of 2.55 with 7 victories and 4 defeats. He has totaled 115 career strikeouts in 120 innings while holding opponents to a .219 batting average. Lifetime in 338 games Sperner is batting .248 with 45 home runs and 162 RBIs. |
