Shamrocks Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 24th , 2021 They hung tough, but ultimately, it won't be a championship year for the Boston Shamrocks. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. The Shamrocks have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 22 years as a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise.
