Hernandez Shuts Out Denver, 13-0 Sunday, September 12th , 2021 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Denver Cutthroats as starter Sergio Hernandez shut them out, 13-0, at Cutter's Cove. The Chicago pitcher struck out 7 and walked 0 while allowing 8 hits. "Hernandez was good but he wasn't flawless," Denver manager Tyler Montgomery said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Chicago, but this is on us."
