El Paso, Miami Close Deal Thursday, August 26th , 2021 Fans in El Paso woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 32-year old LHP Cortez Crus, 24-year old minor league LHP Jason Mortensen, and 24-year old minor league C Sean Grenier to the Miami Sun Sox. In return, the Diablos will receive 29-year old RHP Kevin Keeth. Miami will retain a portion of Keeth's remaining contract. Crus has posted a 6-5 record for the year with a 5.19 ERA. Teams are hitting .294 against him and he has rung up 85 strikeouts in 93.2 innings. To this point in the season, Keeth shows a 6-3 record, 15 starts, 109.1 innings, 111 strikeouts and a 2.39 ERA. |
