6-Hit Game for Arriba Saturday, August 14th , 2021 Magtanggol Arriba was at the head of a San Francisco hit parade at Blues Field. The third baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 6 hits, sparking the Peanuts to a nice 18-3 victory over the New York City Blues. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Arriba told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Blues skipper Mark Haydock said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Magtanggol Arriba doubled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
