Yano Named Top Reliever for PBC

Junro Yano said his performance in 2021 was a "statement" to the entire league.
"As an impending free agent you feel like you've got something to prove, something to work for to ensure that next contract," said the El Paso Diablos pitcher, who is seemingly heading for free agency.
The bullpen ace certainly proved himself this year, and he has won the Professional Baseball Circuit Reliever of the Year Award.
The Sayama, Japan native had a 1.27 ERA this season over 56.2 innings of work. He made 40 relief appearances and had 13 saves, 65 strikeouts, 15 walks and a record of 4-1. Opponent batters hit only .168 against him.
He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 18. Jayden Johnson of the Houston Mavericks finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Mikael Öunap of the Toronto Titans finished third.
