Reynolds Sets Record with Another Home Run Tuesday, September 28th , 2021 Jesse Reynolds has had a spectacular year this season. Today at Titans Fields the Tampa Bay great cracked his 41th roundtripper of the season and broke the league record held by the legendary Dewey Duggan. The fans went wild and gave him repeated curtain calls for his historic blast. Speaking with reporters at the postgame press conference Reynolds told them how he was going to celebrate his new record. "I'll celebrate a little with my family tonight, but not too much. Gotta to go back to work tomorrow, you know." Jesse Reynolds struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd and homered off Mark Black in the 6th. This season, Reynolds has delivered 98 hits in 337 at-bats for a .291 average with 41 home runs. He is getting on base at a .398 clip and his totals also include 67 RBIs and 76 runs scored. This year Reynolds has played in 86 games. |
