Cup Qualifier Game 1 Goes to Toronto, Thanks to Fistler
The Cup Qualifier got off to a quiet start, with the host Toronto Titans taking a low-scoring, 1-0 win over the Chicago Union. Toronto right-hander Brian Fistler was marvelous at Titans Fields. The Titans now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Fistler was in the zone all game. He frustrated Chicago hitters while giving the Titans 7 innings of quality work. Fistler threw 96 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 11 punchouts.

"Brian's as tough as he is talented," said Toronto manager Chris Barrett.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Titans Fields in Toronto.
