The Texans earned a hard-fought, 6-4 win in 10 innings at Everything's Bigger in Texas Ballpark. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Houston pitcher John Hunter. Hunter went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Tim Troy, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. By defeating Houston, the 8th-place Texans improved to 35-47.

Dallas got a clutch hit from Samppa Lehtola. The shortstop launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

Dallas manager Jesus Sanchez called it "a pretty good win."
