Martin Dominant in Los Angeles Win
The Los Angeles Knights downed the Chicago Union, 1-0, at Camelot. Stellar pitching by Corey Martin had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the PBC in wins with 7, handcuffed his opponent all game. Nick Jones nailed down his 8th save. The win boosted Los Angeles to 29-24.

It was a remarkable effort from Martin, who is one of the team leaders. Martin recorded 11 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. Martin, who is tied for 3rd in the PBC with a 2.20 ERA, moves to 7-1 on the year with 106 strikeouts.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Chicago skipper Ron Chiu, "and it cost us."
