Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Dan Meyer, the San Francisco Peanuts defeated the Dallas Texans, 6-5. Meyer was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Peanuts. Luke Whalen earned the win to go to 11-5. He allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 8 strikeouts in 7 innings of work. Earning the save was Asvarya Kabir. He's now cashed in 10 of 12 save opportunities.
In the bottom of the 6th, second baseman Sergio Peniche gave San Francisco the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Peanuts had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out single off Dallas pitcher Dorian Dobie changed that -- and San Francisco went on to win.
