Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Boston Shamrocks and Miami Sun Sox.
Miami first baseman Jonathan Rhodes had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Rhodes went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, even as Boston beat the Sun Sox, 6-4. Boston is now 36-37, Miami 29-44.
Boston took a 6-2 lead on David Miles's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Miles hit in the top of the seventh, left Miami pitcher Cortez Crus visibly frustrated.
"We take it day by day here," said Miles, "and today was a good one for us."
