The Miami Sun Sox faced a tough opponent in Houston pitcher Melvin Palacios, but found a way to pull out the victory at Sun Sox Stadium by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings. Palacios went 6 innings and allowed 4 runs. Caleb Fleming, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. The Sun Sox raised their record to 18-26.
