New York City Blues starter Boboy Formentera kept the Chicago Union hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-1 win. The defeat makes Chicago 24-20.

Mike Beyers hit a run-scoring double off Jean-Sébastien Bellot in the bottom of the first, which put the Blues in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Beyers had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
