Tampa Bay Loses Again
|
El Paso Diablos starter Jason Roether pitched his team past the Tampa Bay Thunder, 3-2. Junro Yano finished the game for El Paso and earned his 2nd save. With the win, El Paso raised its record to 27-14.
Ryan Burton, who led the PBC in stolen bases with 127 in 2014, had a direct impact on the outcome. Burton contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put El Paso up, 3-0.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Tampa Bay manager Ray McKay.
