Thunder Get Past Miami, 2-1

Crowds lined up early in front of The Thunder Bowl, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2021 Professional Baseball Circuit season. On the mound was Kevin Keeth for the visiting Miami Sun Sox and Adam Bianco for the hometown Tampa Bay Thunder. In a spirited contest, the Thunder pulled out the win, defeating the Sun Sox by the score of 2-1. Especially impressive was Adam Bianco. Buddy Hofman, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when second baseman Yeong-kil Koo hit a run-scoring triple. The Thunder went on to win.
"Adam made some big pitches when he needed to," said Thunder manager Ray McKay.
