Behind the hitting of Tamotsu Nishimura, the Boston Shamrocks stopped the Denver Cutthroats, 15-3. Nishimura went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Shamrocks. Bob James, who finished 4th in the PBC in strikeouts with 172 in 2018, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts. Ryan Reutter picked up his 1st save of the season.
Kyle Schroeder hit a bases-clearing double off Tyshawn Dortch in the top of the fifth, which put the Shamrocks in front, 6-3. In addition to the double, Schroeder had 1 single, while going 2 for 6.
