The Toronto Titans took on the Philadelphia Keystones at Keystones Stadium.
The Toronto Titans picked up a win at Keystones Stadium, defeating the Philadelphia Keystones, 7-2. Starting pitcher Jaheim Kinney was an essential part of his team's success. The winning pitcher was Kinney, now 3-1. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 7. Jonathan Benders closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.
Toronto used a clutch at-bat from Andres Martinez to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Titans ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"Coming in, from the get-go, I knew my stuff was good," said Kinney.
With the win, the Titans sit at 17-7.
