Despite a great performance by Boston shortstop Kyle Schroeder, the Miami Sun Sox defeated the Shamrocks by the score of 8-6 at Boston Commons. Schroeder went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Miami is 8-14 and Boston, with the loss, 9-13.

Jonathan Rhodes helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-0, Sun Sox.

"I liked our effort," said Sun Sox manager Barry Lolicht.
