Danny Santa Cruz hit a 2-run home run off Ed Hill in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Shamrocks ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Santa Cruz had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

Santa Cruz told a Boston Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
