Calloway Mashes 2 Homers in 7-4 Philadelphia Win
|
Philadelphia and Washington duked it out and the Keystones came out victorious.
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Alan Calloway, the Philadelphia Keystones defeated the Washington Warriors, 7-4. Calloway hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Keystones. Cesar Galvan was the winner. He's now 1-1. The loser was Ryan Matlock. Kyle Graham recorded his 2nd save for Philadelphia.
Calloway had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Ryan Matlock, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Keystones a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Calloway.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Calloway said.
The loss makes Washington 3-10.
