Capitals Win Play-in Series Monday, September 28th , 2020 The Ottawa Capitals outclassed the Newark Eagles in all facets of the game throughout the ESPC Play-in Series. The end result was a Ottawa series sweep to advance to the Circuit Championship Series, capped off by a 6-4 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said left fielder Havel Hlousek, who hit .714 in the series. Hlousek's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .778 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs.
