Diaz Bombs 3 HR Against Albany Tuesday, September 22nd , 2020 Hamilton Tigers right fielder Jose Diaz had a magnificent game against the Albany Senators, rocketing three balls out of Hamilton Park to help the Tigers win, 5-4. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Diaz went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Hamilton manager Pat McDowell said later. "Seems like Jose found his home run stroke today." Jose Diaz hit a solo-shot off Ryan Carden in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Carden in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mark Baldwin in the 9th. Batting .289 to date, Diaz has 18 home runs and 69 RBIs. |
