Winnipeg, Quebec City Trade Players Tuesday, December 22nd , 2020 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Buffaloes announced today the acquisition of 31-year old RHP Vinny Menchaca from the Quebec City Admirals in exchange for 23-year old 2B Fabian Lachkovics, 20-year old minor league 3B Mel Helu, and 19-year old minor league LF Willie Medina. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Buffaloes, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his career, the 31-year-old Menchaca has accumulated a 28-32 won-lost mark and opposing clubs have hit .289 against him. |
