Saskatoon-Mexico City Trade Confirmed Wednesday, November 18th , 2020 The Moose announced today the acquisition of 30-year old RHP Scott Simpson, 24-year old 1B Lorenzo Bonaiceti, and $2,440 in cash from the Mexico City Aztecas in exchange for 22-year old minor league C Alec Olthof and 24-year old minor league LF Cory Price. "This isn't the biggest deal out there," acknowledged the Moose, "but it should help out both clubs." Mexico City will retain a portion of Simpson's remaining contract. In his career, Simpson has totaled 7 victories and 6 defeats with a 5.40 ERA. The 30-year-old hurler also has struck out 100 batters in 100 innings and surrendered 106 hits. |
