Herbst and Mutahi Swapped Monday, November 16th , 2020 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Empires and Drillers have agreed to a swap. Edmonton will get 19-year old minor league LHP Alphonse Herbst, 22-year old minor league RF Andre Davis, and 21-year old minor league C Jose Ayala with Southern California receiving 30-year old LHP Gaballah Mutahi in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Mutahi has a lifetime record of 19 wins and 14 losses and a 3.39 ERA. |
