Canadians, Potomacs Trade Players Sunday, November 15th , 2020 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the Sherbrooke Canadians have traded 22-year old minor league RF Gerald Cursley, 23-year old minor league CF Matt Linn, 24-year old minor league RHP Takahiro Umeda, 20-year old minor league 3B Rey Duran, and 20-year old minor league C Leonardo Rodriguez to the D.C. Potomacs. In return, the Canadians receive 28-year old LHP Bryce Gilliland. Taking the hill 111 times in his career, Gilliland has compiled an ERA of 2.98 with 29 saves. He has tossed 199.1 innings with 124 strikeouts and 53 free passes. Opponents have hit .269 against him. His won-lost record stands at 16-19. |
