Vizcarrondo, Gandarilla Swap Teams Saturday, November 14th , 2020 BNN has learned the Edmonton Drillers have reportedly worked out a deal with the Las Vegas Rollers. Sources close to the Drillers indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 38-year old RHP David Gandarilla and $12,030 in cash will be swapped to Edmonton with 24-year old minor league C Volodya Darchiashvili and 20-year old minor league 2B Ivan Vizcarrondo heading to Las Vegas. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Las Vegas will retain a portion of Gandarilla's remaining contract. Up to now in his career, Gandarilla has compiled a 13-13 mark in 100 games with 194 strikeouts and 34 walks in 199 innings. He has been credited with 35 saves and has a 2.53 ERA. |
