Quebec City Trades Barker for D.C.'s Martinez Saturday, November 14th , 2020 Trade winds have been blowing through Quebec City. This time, a deal has materialized between the Admirals and Potomacs. According to sources inside the organization, Quebec City will ship 24-year old minor league RHP Steven Barker and 23-year old minor league 3B Alberto Villarreal to D.C. for 29-year old minor league RHP Lupe Martinez. Since he came into the league, Martinez has made 97 appearances, putting up a 17-12 record with 35 saves. In 157 innings he has struck out 143 batters, issued 70 free passes and held other teams to a .267 average. |
