Webb Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
William Webb knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Braves Ballpark, he made his case to be considered among that group.

The 28-year-old left fielder hammered 5 hits in 5 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Vacaville Steelheads fell, 12-11, to the Green Bay Braves.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Braves manager Jeremy Schwarzrock told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Webb wasn't the difference."

William Webb singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
