Potomacs Torpedoed by Colon in 10-0 Loss to Detroit
The D.C. Potomacs were almost helpless in their 10-0 loss to the Detroit Chargers and hurler Andy Colon. Colon kept the Potomacs confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Colon," D.C. manager Jacob Benton said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 27-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 14 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Colon said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
