DeVries and Velez Swapped Saturday, July 27th , 2019 The Mexico City Aztecas have parted ways with 32-year old LF Ray DeVries in a trade with the New York Knights for 24-year old minor league LF Zuleide Tormenta and 22-year old minor league C Oscar Velez. Aztecas general manager Kuykendall confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. So far this season, DeVries is batting .231 with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 281 at-bats, 51 walks and a .350 OBP. DeVries has played in 89 games. |
