Grizzlies-Tigers Swap: Maguire for Mosier Saturday, July 27th , 2019 Acknowledging that it may not be the biggest splash, the Grizzlies announced today that they have acquired 32-year old 1B Gary Mosier from the Hamilton Tigers in exchange for 38-year old RHP John Maguire. "Every little bit helps," announced the Grizzlies, "this deal should improve both squads." In 20 starts this season, Maguire has notched a 9-7 record and a 3.04 ERA. Mosier is batting at a .309 pace this season, picking up 58 hits in 188 at-bats with 5 home runs, 26 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
