Best WSPC Reliever Named Friday, October 25th , 2019 He's a veteran presence in the Las Vegas Rollers bullpen and now David Gandarilla can say he's a 2019 award winner. The bullpen ace was today named the Western Semi-Pro Circuit Reliever of the Year Award winner. "When you're 37 years old, your main objective is to just stay healthy and stay productive. I guess I did that this year," he said. The award was won on the strength of a season that featured 27 saves in 60 relief appearances, with 104 strikeouts in 112 innings and a record of 9-10 to go with his 2.09 ERA. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Brian Farmer of the Southern California Empires finished second in voting, while Tim Dougherty of the Edmonton Drillers finished third.
