ESPC Hands Out Reliever of the Year Award Friday, October 25th , 2019 They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but in the case of Robin Ollson of the Newark Eagles, you don't have to - his old tricks worked just fine in 2019. The 38-year-old veteran turned in a sparkling performance and has won the Eastern Semi-Pro Circuit Reliever of the Year Award. He captured the award with 9 saves in 54 relief appearances, 91 strikeouts and 39 walks in 102.2 innings. He put up a record of 6-1 to go with his 1.67 ERA. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Sifaks Kiara of the Allentown Fleetwings finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jörg Schmidt of the Detroit Chargers finished third.
