Deal: Jessie for Hoelzer Tuesday, October 22nd , 2019 The Ottawa Capitals announced a deal with the Knights today, sending 19-year old minor league LHP Bill Mercado, 24-year old minor league RHP Colin Bell, and 23-year old minor league RHP Wayne Jessie to New York for 41-year old RHP Zach Hoelzer. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. Thus far in his career, Hoelzer has 51 victories and 30 defeats with a 3.11 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .252 average. |
