Edmonton Wins Circuit Championship Series Friday, October 4th , 2019 The Edmonton Drillers outclassed the Vacaville Steelheads in all facets of the game throughout the WSPC Circuit Championship Series. The end result was a Edmonton series sweep to advance to the SPBC Classic Series, capped off by a 10-4 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said right fielder Steven Hawtin, who hit .562 in the series. Hawtin's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .588 on-base percentage and had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
