Rookie Calliste Named Best in September Tuesday, October 1st , 2019 Elijah Calliste's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Saskatoon right fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .360 with 1 double, no triples and 8 home runs. Calliste also scored 18 times and drove in 16 runs. In 49 games this year, Calliste has posted a .321 average and put up these numbers: 12 home runs, 25 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
