Bad News for Dallas, Hooks Injured Friday, September 20th , 2019 When Brandon Hooks was hurt against the St. Louis Lions, the Dallas Texans were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 27-year-old reliever suffered shoulder inflammation throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Hooks would miss 7 months of the season. This year, Hooks has chalked up a 4.08 ERA with no saves. In 23 relief appearances he has put up a 1-2 won-lost mark and struck out 59 batters in 57.1 innings. |
