Rivas Agrees to 5-Year Pact with Atlanta Pilots

Pilots officials hailed the signing of Sandy Rivas as "an integral piece to our championship puzzle," though fans were somewhat more reserved about the signing.
Rivas will pocket $4,250,000 over 5 years.
During his career, Rivas is hitting .262 with a total of 46 home runs.

Broken Glass Cuts Thunder Graves

Thunder starting pitcher Elijah Graves received medical attention yesterday after accidentally cutting himself at his home. Graves was apparently cleaning up broken glass from a shattered window when he sliced his right hand on a jagged shard. The cut required 10 stitches and will reportedly keep Graves out of action for about 2 weeks.
