Bourdon Silences Denver, 1-0 Wednesday, July 24th , 2019 William Bourdon of the St. Louis Lions toyed with the Denver Cutthroats, as he shut them out, 1-0, at The Lions Hearth. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 1-hitter with 12 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Bourdon said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." To date, Bourdon has a 5-2 mark in 9 starts with a 3.55 ERA. He has given up 53 hits in 63.1 innings, struck out 72 and issued 16 walks.
