Keystones Ace, Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Sunday, November 10th , 2019 The Philadelphia Keystones have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Brandon Beech, this year's Professional Baseball Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Beech compiled a 12-5 record in 22 starts, tallied 229 strikeouts in 172 innings and recorded a 2.41 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .206 batting average against him. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 18. Kevin Schuerger of the St. Louis Lions finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ron Mackowski of the Las Vegas Aces finished third with 3 first place votes.
