The New York City Blues beat the Philadelphia Keystones by a score of 6-4. New York City right fielder Joaquin Alvarez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Alvarez went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blues. Sam Burton wrapped it up, recording his 1st save. The Blues go to 28-51 with the win.

New York City used the timely hitting of Dennis Hill to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blues on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
